Hello everyone, and thank you for visiting my new blog!

This is the obligatory “get to know me” post. I am Gayatri Mulay, twenty-one years old and I have nothing better to do right now. I am doing my Masters in English Literature but you might notice my grammar is terrible. To the Grammar Nazis- I’m sorry. No one is probably even reading it. So basically, I am talking to myself.

Very busy and important

Chances are you stumbled upon this blog while skulking around the internet, bored of refreshing your Facebook page every few minutes. In which case, you know nothing about me. I like reading, taking long walks, coffee and tea. Like every other human being out there, I am glued to my phone and tend to pick it up every 2-3 minutes for no apparent reason. My dad reckons it will soon become an extended part of my arm. If you aren’t in the habit of doing this, kudos to you!

*whispers* Come to the Dark Side, we have Android.

Every book I read is immediately compared to Harry Potter in my tiny little brain and I have been doing that since the age of ten. I am one of those people who prefer animals to humans.  Among other things, I watch a lot of TV shows and movies, which will no doubt damage my eyes even further, but who needs fully functional eyes, right?

I really hope I don’t sound completely idiotic. But then again, who is going to read this? Hopefully, no one will ever find out. My blog is and will always be about random things. Maybe when I start living a structured life and find some direction, this page might start making some sense.

I’ll try and keep you posted on things I find amusing or inspirational. Mostly, they will be just the opposite. Hope you enjoy my blog! Or you know… just don’t throw eggs at me.
